I think he was duped into killing the guy. The shrimp guy owed money to the fellow that gave Sawyer the information on the real Sawyer.
At least, I think he was....
By the way, this weeks episode was pretty good. Of course, I'm a Sawyer fan. He may be an asshole, but he's my kind of asshole.
I don't think he withheld the information from Jack because he was hoarding information. I think he was still trying to put all the pieces together when the show ended. I also think that, while Sawyer may not agree and continue to piss Jack off, at least he has a better understanding of why Jack does what Jack does.
