I'll sure be one of the first to say I was wrong if the rapture happens, and deal with the consequences of my choices. Anyone on the 'other' side willing to do the same? I recognize that the rapture would be obvious and clear, and the no rapture isn't so clear.
But surely there is a date where it will be clear?

No, what they'll do is beat around the bush (like with everything else) and try to say things like, "No, see, you aren't supposed to KNOW when it happens," or some other incredibly vague (and horrible) reason for why things happen.
