The only bass I ever played that stayed in tune up the neck was a Rickenbacker.
My Kramer has great tone quality, but loses it at the high end of the neck pretty bad.

GOT.......she plays awesome.....never have i yet to play one as nice........
we do 3 to 4 hour sessions and i only tune her at the start of the night....incredible how well she stays in tune.
the intonation is spot on.......if i wanna hit a hit a high G beyond the "E" octave....it is there.........i love this damn bass..........
and so far,........chrome it is.
