I have a whole shit load. I really shouldn't get started. I'll start listing them a few at a time when I'm reminded of them. I guess I could start with possibly my favorite of all time.
Guns & Roses - November Rain and it's because it's so beautifully written. And Slash's solo's are as good as they get. Some of the best I've ever heard and THE best I've ever heard from him.
Pink Floyd - On The Turning Away. It's flawless. Every instrument is done perfectly. I love that about Floyd. And the guitar solo officially owns my ear drums. It just may be the best I've ever heard in my personal opinion. Comfortably Numb and A Great Day For Freedom are way up there too...probably a 3 way tie.
Pearl Jam - Black it's one of my favorite songs to sing for one and it's so packed with pure raw emotion it's almost overwhelming. The lyrics are beautiful and Vedder delivers some of the best vocals I've ever heard in it. Vedder is one of my all time favorite vocalists.
Silverchair - My Favourite Thing this song is so beautiful. It's one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard. Listening to it you'd never know it wasn't really about a SO. It's not though...Some of the lyrics might show it but it's his "favorite thing" is actually death and his obsession with it. Part of him is obviously suicidal. I try not to get too caught up in the meaning and just enjoy it because it's beautiful.
Babyface - The Day (That You Gave Me A Son) Now this is the single most beautiful song I've ever heard. If you're a father to be I definitely recommend listening to it. Not that I am but as soon as I heard it I fell in love with it. I imagine the day I become a father it will take on a whole new meaning. Hell maybe I'll even sing it to my future wife
.
I'll stop there.
Asta!!
