I've been having probs w/IRC (only shadowfire) the past couple weeks most of the time myself
(I could connect. but not DO anything)
....but I've got a totally diff ISP than you (duh) and we've been doing so much computer reconfiguring/installing/etc lately, so I was never sure if it was on my end or not...
but I think my prob just got fixed ... bf (who controlls our debian box that acts as router/firewall/etc) said my packets were too big
