I run a site which is basically a collection of different pieces of writing (short stories, rants, poetry, etc) which are all interlinked through their content.

It is free and literature-related (I don't collect any sort of contact information or assume ownership of contributions), and I would like to post in the literary forum inviting people to contribute their writings but I don't want to step on any toes in the process.

Is it considered a faux pas on this board to mention outside links in that way, or acceptable as long as I do so tactfully (i.e. no use of the blink tag)?
