It's hard for me to wrap my mind around it too!
I mean, I hear these stories but it's very hard to imagine that one wouldn't know. I've been pregnant a few times, and I felt so different that I'd liken it to being possessed by an alien being (which it is actually). The exploding hormones, the mood swings, the puking, the deep sense of wrongness about it all...who wouldn't notice?
