maybe not as big a deal as it used to be, but still... i don't have 500 GB sitting around to hold my collection in FLAC format. i dig FLAC and SHN, but i don't really want to have another copy of my music sitting around taking up that much space. i figured there'd be no trouble in transcoding down, but obviously going in the opposite direction wouldn't work at all.
