trinitron monitors are great and I definifly recommend a monitor with trinitron tube. i have trinitron monitors for years and never saw the two wires.
however DON'T buy from tigerdirect. i've heard many cases where they sold credit card numbers two other companies and they have very bad costumer service. I know there prices are great but you can get from dell even better prices after coupons.
