Have you heard of Keyhole? Probably the greatest program I have ever downloaded... its what Google purshased a couple months ago. Check it out at
www.keyhole.com try the demo, but be warned you will become hooked. It has all you described, satellite photos... topographic maps, etc. etc. Give me a location and ill post an example.
