I took advantage of an opportunity today to shoot a MP5. I got to empty a couple of clips and boy, is it smooth. No recoil at all and a nice tight grouping (and I'm not that good). I sure wish I could afford one, heck it would even make a decent home defense weapon (9mm, short frame, mounted flashlight).

I really don't have a point to this post, I just really enjoyed shooting the weapon and all of my friends think guns are evil, so sharing my enthusiasm with them would be a Bad Thing™.
