Let's see if I'm on target here. A Halist would walk into a clothing store and try on clothes that he/she likes without needing to be told what looks good. If there's a mirror in front of a Halist, he/she can see for himself/herself whether or not it looks good, and can buy and wear such clothes in complete confidence without needing to have it reinforced by others.
A Halist, therefore, would easily vaccilate between the $185 Nikes and the $12 Hush Puppies, with the ONLY criterion being whether or not he/she likes it. A Halist would not even feel a pull toward wearing the expensive shoes vs the cheap shoes in order to impress anyone or be noticed by anyone or (most importantly) to fit in with anyone. If they're comfortable and they look good, then they get worn.
