I watched an old episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation the other day. It was written by Ron Moore. Everything that the new Battlestar has was there.
Congratulations to Mr. Moore for breathing fresh life into both a loved old series and into the Sci-Fi genre...and also also for driving the final nail into Rick Berman's career as head of Trek.

I couldn't have said it better myself. It would be nice to see Moore take an active role in the next Trek movie (which is in talks currently, but don't tell anyone). They are looking to double the budget they used for Nemesis, and are looking for a way to change the trek universe so that it'll attract more fans. I'll keep everyone posted.
