This is really funny, I was just perparing for my next weeks bible study and the chapter we are doing is ephesians chapter 2. Go read that it is directly about being saved by grace not works.
here is a snippit 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast.
