Personally, i have always thought a great (maybe the best) Bond movie idea would be to take the actor leaving (in this case Brosnan) and show him as 007 training the next "James Bond" then as the "kid" is about to take over the original gets killed off by SPECTRE and goes from there or the original feeling betrayed turns into a SPECTRE agent and the new Bond has to kill him.

I know it sounds corny, but, no more so than what Star Trek did in "Generations".

Just think if they had had Connery or Moore training Brosnan to be Bond and then killed off Connery/Moore or worse yet turned them into SPECTRE agents. The script would have to be really good but I think it could be doable and make one hell of a Bond movie.

Course They have been predicting the end to Bond movies since Connery left and the pitiful movies of Tim Dalton, Bond always seems to come back better and stronger.
