The process of taking the sum of a number's component integers till a single integer is given is called a digital root.
Example:
15874
1 + 5 + 8 + 7 + 4 = 25
2 + 5 = 7
digital root of 15874 = 7
Also a digital root cannot be zero, unless you start out with zero.
Remember that one for Jeopardy.
