We cannot judge lions in this manner.
They do not have the mental facilities to engage in moral reasoning. They
can only do what comed naturally them. As 'ought implies can', what they do cannot be judged as moral or immoral.
Furthermore, even if a lion 'wanted to' it would be unable to survive on a vegetarian diet. It is not biologically equipped to do so. We have the luxury of being able to make a choice.
