sounds like the season is done with and next season will start with replacement players and a CBA in place for all the teams in the league... They will probably let nhlers back in (sure) but they will have to have their salaries conform with the new rules... I think the NHLPA screwed the pooch on this one.. They did a good job at getting them lower, but i don't see how you can have a good league without a salary cap... works great in football, and baseball has a luxurary tax which really hurts the smaller teams and the big teams don't really care about it.. So yeah i am siding with the owners now.. i think they gave the players a good offer and they just don't know when to quit..
