Ooh, thats a toughie. He would have been screwed either way. I probably would have given the kid my "ice," but I definitely would not have asked for it back after the awards ceremony. That was the best option available. It's definitely odd that he would actually go through the trouble of getting it back after the ceremony. He might still be pissed after the playoff loss.
