Well first off I hope it was a regular accident and the driver wasn't drunk as well.
Anyways, yeah I'd agree that a doctor should look at you, perhaps even get an xray to see if there is anything cracked. If not, then good old Motrin/Advil/Ibuprofen or Aleeve/Naproxen should help out with the pain and not make you drowsy.
