Played CS from way the hell back in early beta before the game had 1/4 of what it has now.. and I am truely thankful for source.
The last 3-4 patches/versions for CS continually made the game worse from what it once was. CS:S made insanly brilliant chances to CS that I love to no end. Although I still hate both CS and CSS for taking away my precious docks.
Now if only we could filter players by actual age I would feel like playing the game again.
