Moraine is not dead. it's liek Gandalf and the balrog. she'll apear when needed.
Luc is Elayne's Uncle, Rand's step father. he is also Isam (they are two in one, Isam mainly works in Tel and Luc in real life, but not always. he can switch identities. what is more amazing is he isn't mad) Isam is Lan's brother I think (i'm even getting a bit confused)
see, lan's mother or step mom sent Isam to the blight so he'd not rule Malkeir. isam met with luc... something..... merged.. them.
they are one and extreemly evil. not just cruel or power hungry. they are evil incarnate.
