I wouldn't worry about lessons too much.....pick up a program called guitar pro. it's relatively inexpensive and then you can download tab from
www.mysongbook.com best way to learn music thats how my brother does it. He's never had a lesson at all. And you name it and he can play it. and he even writes his own songs and he just turned 18, way over excellent for his age.
