Anytime you overclock your system you are asking for trouble. It sounds like it's a gaming machine and it's being pushed to crank up the fps. Have you tried just running it at it's normal settings? MB/CPU and video card? If it runs flawlessly then you know it's not meant to be overclocked, even though the bios allows you the make changes.
One thing you may want to check is the RAM you have installed. I've had intermitten issues due to RAM, inpropertly seated, incorrect settings (clock speed), etc.
