Power Supply trouble?
I'm not really sure what this problem is, but I'll try to explain it as best I can. Basically, my computer will spontaneously restart. It should be noted that this does NOT appear to be the result of an error/bluescreen. It's random, although it does seem to be a little correlated with temperature. I believe it's voltage though, because I have a 3.2E overclocked to 3.71 with a VCore set at 1.4375(somewhere around there...I'm using the Asus P4P800E bios). Heat is not the issue as I have an XP-120 with a 120mm fan. The highest temp I have seen is about 60, and that's under heavy load. I believe it's voltage because Asus Probe says that the VCore is 1.36V. It will start at about 1.39V, but drops when I begin running Prime95 to 1.37 or 1.36. I have 2 hard drives (a 74GB raptor and a 160GB), a 6800GT overclocked to roughly Ultra speeds and 7 fans (Thermaltake Xaser III case). The power supply is 420W, and a wattage calculator put me well under that (around 340 or 350, roughly). Does this indicate a power supply problem? And what can I do about this?
