Your husband must want very much for the relationship to work out so his son can have a mother. That alone demands respect. Something you obviously don't want to give him. You two are both better off beig seperated. Just make sure your son is taken care of.

Now I'm not trying to deliberately be an asshole about it, I'm just calling this like I see it because I've seen this so many times and they all end up the same way. Disastrous. For your son's sake, I hope you get it together.
