She knows they open doors but hasn't quite figured out how to turn them...but she has managed to get 1 door open twice. Another time I was in the computer room with the door basically shut but not latched. I heard jiggling on the knob and within a few seconds she was coming through the door. She'd futzed with the knob on the door until she figured out she could just push it open...smart I tells ya! That and she'll learn to do damn near anything for a treat.

My dog does the same thing with doors, He hasn't opened one yet..But he knows that the door knob opens doors.
Another thing, When he wants to go out in the backyard..He comes with my shoe in his mouth and when i go to grab it from him, he runs to the door.
An old friend of mine had a sheppard, and he had no control over this dog..This dog controlled him, I use to tell him that he needed to get a lapdog because he doesn't know how to train a big dog..He laughed at me and said if you had a big dog he would run you, My dog is the same age as his was at the time and 90% better trained. I wish i still knew him.
