How do I fix a missing file?
I thought I had fixed my computer but I don't think so. It's moving very very slow and I notice that the performance graph on task manager jumps from 0% cpu usage to 100% cpu usage with very little in between.
The only thing that keeps coming up with Systemworks is that I am missing a file
c:\programfiles\commonfiles\installshield\professional\runtime\0700\Intel32\DOTNETINSTALLER.exe
file: MSCOREE.DLL.
what is this file and how do I replace it. I have reloaded windows XP over and over again and had to delete all EA games because they were interfering with XP being reloaded.
Is there a hot patch or hot fix i can go to replace this file?
I notice it says Intel 32..... does this mean maybe there is a link to my Pentium 4 missing and the computer is having a hard time communicating with it?
Any help would be deeply appreciated.

My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?"
