I was walking along with a friend when I was about ten and we found a plastic bag with a multimeter in a yellow leather case, I showed it to my dad and he still uses it now, eleven years later
I also found a wallet once during a lecture, I admit I did snoop through it but didn't take anything and didn't find anything particularly interesting, and I handed it in at student services.
