At our last house, we had great neighbors in a quiet subdivision, aside from one neighbor had a dalmation that would bark whenever it was out and the wind blew. They moved out after a short time, so things were quiet.
Then, my neighbor next door moved down south. The assistant prosecuting attorney in our town bought the house. She lived by herself & kept to herself, except for the fact that she had a full size poodle, sharpei, and two more yappers. She would let them outside after she got home for work. When one started to bark, they all did. I'll give anybody five or ten minutes to get their dogs in, but this bitch (not talking about the dogs) would leave them outside for an hour. What the hell are people thinking these days? Your neighbors DO NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO YOUR DOGS BARK!
We must have called the cops ten or fifteen times on her, and I swear she had a scanner (which would make sense for a prosecutor) since the dogs would magically go inside every time the cops were about to make an appearance. They talked to her a few times that we could see, but the problem never went away. I was about at the point of dipping a few steaks in anti-freeze when someone bought our house & we moved down the road.
I also had a few in college in our quad-plex that liked constantly loud music. We had it out with them (everybody listened to it loud in our building but this was never quiet!) and they finally packed up & moved somewhere else.
