A child needs to learn that there are gay people in the world. I'm assuming you are referring to religious extremists. Like the morons that try to say Harry Potter is evil! There is alot of Chrstians who do not give a damn about this garbage obviously.
Also, this cartoon really sucks. Still, until we see some anal play going on or deliberate gay statements, it's retarded to assume there is a hidden message in a cartoon.
