I went through the drive through at the local Burger King. When I got to the window and was given my total and it seemed high. I asked the person working if it was right as my math put it about $5 cheaper. She said yes and gave me a copy of the receipt. I quickly added it up and found that my "value" meal cost almost $8. She got the manager who looked at the receipt and told me it was right. I went off on him and told him his value meal wasn't a value and that they were ripping people off. I was hungry and on a schedule so I paid my bill, took my food and left. After I got home I pulled out the receipt and did the math again to see how much I was really out. I guess my original math was a little off. I accidentally added everything and missed the part where some of the items had the - sign before it. Now my $8 value meal actually cost me about $5.50 (which was right for what I ordered). Good thing the Burger King here is closing to I don't have to go back.
