I blew the head gaskets on my 1997 mecury sable... if you did the work yourself, and if you did a cam swap you could do it no problem. if you get a friend and have all the tools you and your friend can do it in about 2 days. the only cost would be getting the head decked (make sure its flat), gaskets, and new head bolts. I had my valves reseated and springs replaced. i think i got everything in there... good luck to you.
