maybe coffee shops are just a NW thing, but I know there are Starbucks everywhere. Take a book that's interesting, sit in Starbucks/other coffee place, and just keep your eyes peeled. If you've got a good book, you might not even have to do any work...she might be interested in you/book and ask about it. This works for either sex, either way.
