[QUOTE=CityOfAngels]I must say I'm surprised by a lot of the responses in this thread. To those who say, "All of the GTA games," have you actually played ALL of the GTA games? The only time I was ever bored while playing San Andreas was AFTER I had beaten it, and had no more missions to complete. The same with Vice City. You need to complete missions to truly experience the games. Many people start one up, thinking the game is all about running around, killing as many people as you can, and stealing as many cars as you can. Of course you'll get bored doing that. What many of these people don't realize is there are missions to complete that add substance to the game.
Yep, I've played GTA 3, Vice and San Adreas. From my experience, they are just boring after a while. After the whole "cool I can do whatever I want" wears off, the GTA games just don't offer much up for me.
I have the same reaction that you do when people say Halo is crap, because I have such fond memories playing Halo Multiplayer way to much with my college buddies.
I guess thats why they make a ton of video games this year, so everyone can find something they enjoy.
