Yeah I do that all the time. Mostly when I'm writing a rap song because since I don't have a band or know how to play an instrument I can't really write any other kind but I've noticed I'll be listening to a song and a lyric or what not may stand out and make me think of lyrics of my own. Usually just a chorus...then I hear the song in my head haha. Guitar solo's, background vocals, piano riffs, string arrangements, drums, etc. Too bad I can't play an instrument..I'd prolly have a few songs behind my belt by now. I also think it's strange that I can hear all those things in my head vividly as if they're being played right behind me while I sing it but yet I have no real idea of any of the notes, etc. these imaginary musicians in my head are playing
