Well, if his family is already wealthy, it's not that tough of a decision. Maybe he feels he is not ready for the NFL. Maybe he doesn't feel like having to do everything for himself yet.
On the flip side, there are many many college athletes who are basically forced to enter the pro's to take care of their families.
