My old father was EXACTLY like that when me and my sister still lived at home. I got off pretty easy, but my sister was always in for embarassement whenever she had a new boyfriend. When the guy was getting used to the crazy comments, my father got bored with him and stopped bothering.
It was always at the table, too.. like a "Darn, we need to fix the springs on your bed.. the bouncing noise HAS to stop" after my sister's boyfriend had spent the night home.
Once, the FIRST thing he did when meeting a new one was to stare at him with a totally straight face and ask "How do you feel about going down on a woman?"
