It's really wise to talk to a pediatrician about this. It sounds like it could be, especially if they are having a lot of it. Are they burping and going potty/poop well?
Usually it's best to keep breastfeeding up until 6 mo., but for me I had to quit at 3 mo. for postpartum reasons.
