Not necessarily. Abbas has already
proven himself willing to deal with militant Palestianism. He opposes violence against Israel. He was a prime mover in the original peace plan.
But, as if often the case, he may find it difficult to actually handle them easily. This is his burden and his task. Israel should be helping him, not hindering him.
