Our little one has the same problem. We do use the soy based formula now. But this still had to be thickened by putting cereal in with the milk. We had to cut the nipple to allow for the thicker formula to get through. Feeding times took a little longer.
He had a little bit of a reflux problem, and was prescribed zantac for this. But we discussed this with his doctor. So we decided to use something more natural. And used aloe vera juice instead. Worked like a charm.
He is ten months now. And no more issues with eating. He does not need the aloe or the thicker formula. He is a hog.. just like his dad.
