If you can swap a cam, you can pull a head. Of course, if it's the rear facing head on a V-6 Contour, it problably involves pulling the engine. Sometimes you can remove motor mount(s) and tilt the engine far enough forward to get at the back head. Sometimes not. Depending on what you've got in there, it may be a real pain in the ass kinda thing.
Buy a new car. Get it over with.
