I shouldn't ask... okay I will. Did either of you figure out how much time was spent on the legs vs. a taxi trip to any store with those cheap drill kits?
I like Robertson, or Torx (for higher torque apps), except on horizontal surfaces that'll see weather or abuse. Their recess is hard to clean out and makes for a real PITA removal. Try taking out a Robertson fastened deck with a smile. Phillips gets the nod for those situations. Funny, I hated Phillips screws with a passion when I was young. The multiple sizes vexed my limited tool selection to no end. I also didn't have the feel for how much force was required to keep the driver seated and always stripped the things. Now the dislike has shifted entirely to standard-slot junk that makes my Milwaukee useless.
