Yes, it is based almost entirely on the GT40. What's missing in these pics is one dressed up in the Gulf Racing paintwork.
Recently a street GT40 went for $360 000+ at the Barrett Jackson Classic Auto Auction. Which was an extremely low price, as it was expected to fetch over 400.
