Just read thru all the intros--sounds like a diverse group- diversity rocks!
Me--well it appears I'm both a newbie and a senior member--no gasping--I'm 43 y.o.
I hate labels, tho' I realize the need to use 'em sometimes to better communicate. So... I'm Canadian by birth, I'm a mother, daughter & sister & spousal unit.
I'm a marriage & family therapist too... but I've been sidelined for a while with a sudden, serious heart conditon. I'm stabilized and I've stopped referring to it as a *terminal* illness and just call it chronic now. It affects a lot of my life...for good & bad.
In the past year, I've committed myself to improving my health and thus have stuck to a regular swimming regimen. I also do the non-trendy type yoga on my own, as it's been something I keep going back to since learning it at age 16. It helps me chill out and the stretching/postures help loosen my tight muscles from swimming.
I have some bi-curious feelings. I have a theory that as women age, sometimes they become a bit more in-tune with the broad spectrum of sexuality. It seems those of you that know you are bi-sexual are a bit ahead of the game, and I think that's pretty cool.
