One interesting fact I found out this last week: BV can also be treated by acidophilus.
You are right. The acidophilus puts more bacteria in the intestines. Gets rid of the extra yeast you may have or will develop. You may still need a prescription to get rid of the actual infection but a pill a day after will help keep it from coming back
