Got my XFX 6600 GT yesterday, and played halflife 2 all day- no such weird problems it seems so many people are experiencing with this chip. I'm so happy!!
All my games seem to play on par to exactly what I expected, but I haven't recorded any fps yet in any of them- but I did break 9000 in 3dMark03 after overclocking (and the potential to overclock this card is great).
Temps seem pretty average, I got mine to throttle up to ~70c while under load, and hangs around 55c when idling around. These temps are pretty average for nVidia cards, I think.
