That's what I'd like to know. Definitly happens though.

My cell phone causes nearby speakers to pop and sparkle every once in a while. It really wigs the speakers out when I make a call or my phone rings. My car speakers make a noise about 3 seconds before my phone rings if I put my phone in a particular spot.

It really hits home as to why they don't like you using them on airplanes when it happens.

Only electronics I have nearby are my monitor right between the speakers, a calculator next to that and my cell phone. But the phone is on my belt about 4 feet from the speakers.

Very strange. No noise right now, just got to work. I seem to notice it later on as the day wears on.
