It just started on Monday and I must say they have the hockey parents spot on in this show. Having grown up playing minor hockey I can see quite a few of my old teammates parents in the characters on the show. My parents at least my father was the same way hockey was life, screaming at the games, complaining about the coaches, this show has nailed hockey parents to a tee, it is great.
I only hope the parents see beyond the humour and realise that they are doing the exact same thing to their kids. With the pressure to be great, score goals and they are losing focus on just having a good time playing the game. I really do hope this show educates as well as entertains.
