Is anyone else happy to hear Marrioti was fired from ESPN 1000? Last week, Jay Marrioti was fired from ESPN 1000. For those who don't know who he is a columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times, and he had a morning radio show here in Chicago for almost a year. He also is a regular on Around the Horn.. This guy is a total ass... He is proclaimed himself as the King of Chicago media, yet all he did was bitch & moan all the time. It has been rumored he was fired because of countless on air attacks of Bulls & White Sox owner Jerry Riensdorf, which sometimes is merited, but he was obsessed with hating this guy.. Asking listeners to sell their season tickets, and ban the teams until he sells them. Bottom line, I am very happy this guy is gone. Anyone else following this story?
